Missing blocks from TargetGroups.sbc
Not a Bug
In TargetGroups.sbc I noticed Targeting groups are missing certain blocks making turrets not behave as expected. It seems it was not updated in a while.
In weapons subtype for example there are no Railguns, Artillery, Assault or Autocannons, which means when turrets are set to weapon systems do not target clearly armed enemies.
The target groups need to be checked for missing blocks added across updates along with their dlc counterparts.

I have the same bug
Hello Engineer,
Thank you for reaching out to us and for taking the time to investigate the TargetGroups.sbc file.
We checked this internally with our designers, and it appears the behavior here is expected. The targeting groups in the file work based on TypeId rather than specific block subtypes. Because of this, weapons such as Railguns, Artillery, Assault Cannons, and Autocannons may not appear explicitly in the list, even though they are still correctly included through their parent block types.
For example, the Railgun is treated as a subtype variant of SmallMissileLauncherReload, rather than as its own separate type entry.
Based on this, all currently added weapons and blocks should already be accounted for by the targeting system, even if the file structure can appear a bit confusing at first glance.
Thank you again for the report and feedback. We’ll be closing this thread as it’s Not a Bug, but if you experience any other issues, please feel free to create a new thread.
Kind Regards,
