Are you trying to change Emotions using a script, or are you using any MODs for this? If any MODs or scripts are involved, could you also check whether the same issue occurs in a fresh unmodded/vanilla world?
If the issue still occurs in vanilla, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with a brief explanation of your grid setup or any specific steps that consistently reproduce the problem.
All of this information would greatly help us reproduce and investigate this issue further.
