Broadcast Controller block doesn't work

Broadcast controllers don't seem to broadcast anything after the latest update.
I first noticed it when I went after my first encounter in space, in the EU#3 server. It wasn't broadcasting anything. After capturing it I checked it's settings, and all seemed to be in order.
I built a broadcast controller (online) to test it, and got no broadcast at all.
I then tested the block in creative, but still nothing.
I have the same bug
