Connectors on new stations wont let me dock

Not a Bug

I started a new save recently and managed to find a pirate station. Ive been struggling because the connector wont let me connect any ship to it for trade or to buy fuel. I also turned cheats on and tried to see if it was a wrong setting but everything checked out. Have no idea why i cannot connect to that station

The pirate station won't connect to me either. Its rating is in the red zone.

So i played yesterday and improved my reputation the connector became available to me. I'll take this one down then. It also said in the reputation screen that "cannot interact with faction" so i should've caught that
