Airpressure disappear in dedicated server

Need More Information

Hallo,

Some grids in my dedicated server are airtight and has Oxygen, but sometimes the grid forgets that it is airtight. After restarting de server the grid is airtight again until it breaks again after some time.

Sometimes this also happens with new grids in constructie which makes it really hard to know when they are airtight and when not.

Hello Jasper,

Thank you for reaching out on the forum.

Could you kindly share a few more details about this issue?

Does it occur with air vents in automated airlocks, where sealed rooms stop being recognized and pressurization breaks after door cycles or block changes until the game is reloaded?

We have a few similar issues reported internally related to air pressurization, so we’d like to confirm whether this is the same issue or something different.

If possible, could you share screenshots or screen recordings showing the issue? It would also really help if you could include a bit more context what exactly you’re experiencing and what your grid setup looks like (including any Scripts/Mods).

This will help us better understand the issue and investigate it further.

Kind Regards,

Hello

Thank for your repons.

No it happens a lot in a base with a very basic door set up. After a bit the main room doesnt have pressure anymore.

i attached a foto and a video of me asking the leak detection mod to find a leak of which i know i wont find and it still doesnt find it. Also the base has multiple oxygen tanks that are attached to the vent.

I dont use any airvent or resource managment related mods only the leak finder (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3170315974)

I hope this helps.

If you have more question feel free to ask

Hello Jasper,

Thanks for sharing the video and the additional details.

After reviewing it, this looks similar to an issue reported in the following thread:

Event Controller Airlock Pressurization Bug | Space Engineers PC Support

That said, we’d like to confirm a few more things from your side.

If possible, could you share the server save where the issue occurred, or a blueprint of the affected grid?

  • You can access your server save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated\Saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a Google Drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Also, are there any consistent steps that trigger the issue every time? For example, in the thread above, the players mentioned that after running around the base for a while (opening/closing doors) and venting rooms, the air vents eventually stop working.

Any extra details like this would really help us confirm whether this is the same issue or something different.

Kind Regards,
