Character reset and base is dissappeared
Hello, I would like to report two related issues on our Space Engineers dedicated server and ask whether this is expected behavior or a bug.
Before our base disappeared, we were already having a problem with PlayerCharacterRemovalThreshold. When it was enabled, every time we rejoined the server our characters were being reset,. Our inventories were empty again and our character/suit stats were cleared, as if we had respawned as fresh characters instead of continuing normally. is this game feature?
Because of that, I now need clarification on how offline characters are supposed to work in Space Engineers. Are characters intended to remain in the world after a player disconnects? Is that a normal game feature, and is PlayerCharacterRemovalThreshold supposed to remove only the offline body without resetting the character on reconnect?
We also had another serious issue: our base disappeared. The base was not abandoned, not unpowered, and not unowned. It had power and it belonged to our faction. So I would like to understand why it was removed or deleted.
Could you please clarify whether these two issues may be connected? In particular:
our characters were resetting whenever PlayerCharacterRemovalThreshold was active, and later our powered faction-owned base also disappeared.
We would like to know:
is it normal that disconnected player characters remain in the world,
why enabling offline character removal appears to reset our characters,
and why a powered base owned by our faction would be deleted.
Also to add i dont use any mods
It may be related to the automatic server restart/reset that happens every morning. I see that the server resets automatically every day in the morning.
Sadly no log for base issue because i did restore from back but i testing at moment for logs
Thank you.
I have the same bug
