space engineers 2: all structures disappear after a while in unknown signal sites.

in starting planet, fly to an unknown signal. once you arrive start heavily looting the building. sample all material block types with the grinder. suddenly, all prebuilt game building materials disappear. This can take a few minutes to happen but it always does. Has happened while i was in a build menu 2 times and while actively cutting into a building others.
the 2 asteroid bases I can repro on for sure are the small base encrusted in ice spikes with a smelter and gravity machine with cobalt in the caves. and the wrecked base in the deep crater that is on fire. it also has intended significant wall damage a gravity machine and large battery bank and 1 small solar panel.
I think every time this has happened I have received a "Platinum electrode" that I don't know where it came from. only 1. I have no way to make one of these this early in the game.
Otherwise its a fun game keep up the good work. My wife thinks its so pretty.
