Crouch key not causing ships to decend

CmdrSlamm1 shared this bug 3 days ago
Need More Information

Crouch key (remapped to numpad 0, I'm left handed) won't cause my atmospheric ships to loose altitude & be able to land. When I press the crouch key, fliers just hover. I have to turn off dampeners to land.

This also effects the P.A.R.K. scrip down command.

Doing the close game, verify files, close steam, reopen has not worked.

Keybind works fine for rover brakes, char crouching, & jet pack operations.

Hello Engineer,

Thank you for writing to us on the forum.

Could you please let us know if the issue is present on a fresh unmodded world, such as Earth Planet? We'd like to exclude mod and script interactions as the first step to diagnosing the issue.

Kind Regards,

Looks like it is a world dependent mod problem

But a new issue. When making a new creative world I can't select Starting Point. Must start in survival and then edit the save to creative or stay survival & enable admin tools to be able to copy paste blueprints for a test flier.

Hello Engineer,

Since the issue appears to be related to a MOD, we just want to confirm that the same issue does not occur in an unmodded world. If you haven’t checked that yet, please let us know once you do.

Regarding the other issue you mentioned, please create a new thread for it so we can track and support each issue separately. In that thread, let us know whether the issue happens in a modded or unmodded world, and whether you are using any Plugins. If this world has MODs or Plugins enabled, please remove them and create a fresh unmodded world to see if the issue still occurs.

If the issue persists even in an unmodded world, please share a screen recording showing the full reproduction steps (from creating a new world until the issue appears) along with the log file (named as SpaceEngineers_) from the time the issue occurred.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Thank you for your understanding.

Kind Regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department
