Hello Support!
Using an AZERTY keyboard and have set the language of the game to 'English' I am experiencing this issue since 1.208 release:
- I am unable to input the brackets characters (using the Alt+5 key and Alt+) key) in description fields, gps, group names, name of the bloc.
- I can do it in the Custom Data screen
I have not bind these keys to anything and the issue is there since last update. (1.207 -> 1.208).
I have checked the integrity of the game files and restarted Steam many times.
This happens even on a full vanilla NEW game (I chose Lost Colony scenario).
It seems that ANY Alt+key direct input is disabled in these fields.
A workaround for that is to use the Alt+91 & Alt+93 combinations.

Same on a german QWERTZ keyboard. All key combinations that require AltGr seem to be broken. This includes the following characters: [ ] { } \ @ € ~ |

I have the AUKEY KM-G12 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, and I’m having an issue with some special characters when using the German keyboard layout.
Right now, I can only type the square brackets [ ] when I switch to the English layout (using Alt + Shift). In the German layout, the right-Alt (AltGr) combinations don’t work for the characters I need, so I have to switch layouts just to type [ ], which is quite annoying.
Could you please release a patch to fix this so that the AltGr combinations work correctly with the German layout?
