BUG 01_208_014 - Spiders don't spawn on Titan and Alien planet

Hi Keen Team!

While playing in my current survival world I have noticed there was no Spiders spawning anymore.

STR

1 - I have used an existing Star System world set survival, no Mods, food on slow mode and Spiders enabled.

2 - Loaded on Titan at my Respawn station.

3 - Walked for about 20 minutes on sand soil and noticed no Spiders spawning.

Additional information :

- I also teleported my character on Alien planet and noticed no Spiders spawn over there, too,

- Spiders were spawning in very fast before the Core update and I have walked on Titan soil for +20 minutes to no avail so far.

I have the same bug

Thank you for reaching out to our forum with this issue.

Unfortunately we've been unable to reproduce it on our side. We can mention that the spawn rates for Titan and Alien Planet are slightly longer, randomized between 5 and 30 minutes. The exact values can be found in the PlanetGeneratorDefinitions.sbc in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Data under <AnimalSpawnInfo>, with values in milliseconds. Could you please let us know if NPCs don't spawn after 30 minutes on your side?

I did the "Play for +30 minutes" and still no Spiders on Titan but I have tested an old save created a long time ago and I just had to Resave in the new game version to update it, well looks like it needed to be saved in the new game version to fix.

All good now, Spiders spawned a few minutes (5 minutes) after saving, exiting and reloading the save :
