Game Crashed. Graphics device driver has crashed. Your card is probably overheating or driver is mal
Hello,
I'm having this recurring issue no matter where or what I'm doing the game will randomly crash giving me this error "Game Crashed. Graphics device driver has crashed. Your card is probably overheating or driver is malfunctioning. Please, update your graphics drivers and remove any overclocking"
I am currently playing on a Host Havoc Server that I rented, and my friend is not having these problems. I have even contacted them about this issue and tried all of their methods to fix this problem. I have tried all methods posted on your website nothing is fixing this issue. I'm using an RTX 5090 GPU with a 9050 X3D CPU. My card is indeed not overheating, and I have not overclocked my card. I have reinstalled all drivers and checked for updates as well as any window updates, all are good. Can you please help?

Hello Briley,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum. We sincerely apologize for the issue you’ve been experiencing.
Based on the information shared, this might be a crash related to a SharpDX.SharpDXException error. To confirm this, we’ll need the log files from the time the crash occurred.
Before collecting the logs, however, you can try a workaround that has helped other players resolve similar issues, i.e. setting the grass density to zero.
To do this:
After adjusting the setting, please join the Havoc Server and check if the crash still occurs. If it does, kindly send us the complete log files (both SpaceEngineers- and VRageRender-) from the time of the crash.
Kind Regards,
Keen Software House: QA Department
