Welding missing blocks using projector breaks block references in timers, event controllers
Investigating
Specifically on small grid as I haven't tested large grid yet, it I have a projector with a blueprint of the ship, and replace damaged blocks such as connectors and batteries, the block references remain broken within the remote control hotbar, in event controllers and within timer block action bars.
I have the same bug
Hello Bob,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.
Could you please let us know if the issue occurs on a modded world or server (with active MODs) and with modded blocks on the grid? If so, we kindly ask you to try reproducing the issue in a vanilla (unmodded) world/server.
If the issue persists in a vanilla world/server, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, as this will help us investigate and attempt to reproduce it on our side. If possible, please also share the vanilla/unmodded world save or the dedicated server save file.
Kind Regards,
Keen Software House: QA Department

Yeah I am using the build vision mod only. No modded blocks. I will try it without the mod and see if it does the same thing.

I removed the mod, fired up the game, went to one of my drones, ground down a battery, turned on the projector, started the battery, turned the projector off, then welded the battery all the way up. It's showing as grayed out in the CD-Timer (Dock) and CD-Timer (Undock) on hotbar 3 I believe.
Now, if you need me to, I can start up a fresh world and blueprint some stuff in. Not sure if the mod broke anything in a permanent fashion.
I am attaching screen shots of the view in the control panel and Setup Action screen in case that helps.
Let me know what the next steps are or if I missed something.
