Algea Farms Not Pushing to Inventory When full
Not a Bug
I noticed after some long gameplay that my Algae farms had not produced more than they can hold. 12 Algae (60L) were in the farm its self but none had been push to inventory. I made a post on the Steam Forum and Dan2D3D Tested and confirmed that with no external Pull such as a food processor, Survival Kit or sorter actively pulling from the farms they do not push to inventory when full and any new production after is lost.
Ive attached the game file, but the issues should be repeatable in any game

Hello Engineer,
Thank you for the report and the detailed information.
After discussing this with our design team, it turns out that the Algae Farms are working as intended.
They do not automatically offload or dump their contents when full. This is intentional - if they did, players could easily end up with entire inventories filled with Algae upon loading back to the game after some time.
If you’d like the Algae to be automatically transferred elsewhere, we recommend setting up a Sorter to pull the items from the farm into connected storage or processing blocks.
Since this behavior is expected, there’s no issue to fix at this time and I will close this thread.
Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
