adding a suspension wheel

Shinobu Koiomi shared this bug 28 days ago
Not a Bug

after a recent update, it has become impossible to put full blocks close to the short suspension, semi-blocks or plates can be installed, but they do not allow you to insert a new wheel. In this regard, many SG wheel grids, rovers, have become incapable of survival, as they have become impossible to build.

I sincerely hope that this is just a mistake, and was not intended from the beginning.

I am attaching to this message a link to a short video with a visualization of the problem and hope for a quick solution.

Hello Engineer,

Thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.

However, based on the video you provided, there are clearly multiple mods running.

Are you able to reproduce the same problem in a vanilla (no mods) version of the game? Could you please try that?

As you can see in the image we shared, everything is working correctly on our side, and we are able to connect the blocks directly around the suspension without any issues.

If you are able to reproduce the same problem in a game without mods, could you please share the affected blueprint, along with steps to reproduce the issue, or provide another video showing the problem?

With the steps or the video, please name the specific block(s) that you are experiencing the problem(s) with.

You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Yes, you were right, the problem was fashion.

I honestly didn't expect it to happen that way, and that it would be him.

Your best bet is to inform the mod author on his steam page. Keen does not fix mods, nor notify authors of problems.

Hello Engineer,

thank you for your reply.

Happy to hear that the issue is not happening in game without MODs.

Please note that Nicholas is right in this case. We do not provide support for MODs, plug-ins or any other 3rd party add-on. That is always the responsibility of the proper owner/creator to make sure that the MOD/add-on is working correctly with the current game.

We can advice you to try to approach the creator/owner directly (e.g. on the MOD page you provided) and share you current experiences with him.

Since the vanilla wheels/suspensions are working as intended and there is no more assistance needed from our side, I will close this thread now.

Thank you for your understanding.

Happy Engineering!

Kind Regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department
