Hit by debris in pressurised small grid cabin (not cockpit)

Whilst sat in a custom pressurised cabin with air vent, we often experience damage by debris or insta death by debris.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.
Can you please send us the particular world save (ideally vanilla (unmodded) file where the issue occurs and the grid is already in place?
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
Also please provide us steps to reproduce or short video demonstrating the problem.

I am on Xbox so unable to provide these files, however it occurs on the EOS UK 1 server.
You may be able to recreate this during a sandstorm on mars.
Create an airtight room on a rover and drive through the storm. We either take damage or insta death.

I've seen multiple videos from youtubers who have also experienced both impact damage and radiation damage in a sealed small grid craft.
It's consistently small-grid and consistently when it's some form of seat under glass as opposed to a single-piece cockpit.
I don't know if this helps, but in another video (or may even be the same one), a youtuber was playing and his character appeared to be standing on the seat, bugging through the glass and mostly outside of the ship while flying it. It seemed temporary, not sure what he did to get the character to sit back down. I mention it as it may be that the game is having trouble identifying character borders/position when seated in a small grid craft.
At 4:53 in this video, the youtuber starts taking radiation damage inside while seated, then at 5:51, he gets hit by debris while still seated.

At 1:46 in this video, you can see the guy debugging the exposure where he figures out he needs to move the seat back away from the glass to work around the bug.

Here's another (from a different youtuber) that involves exposure while inside the craft. He gets radiation damage every time he sits, and it lowers when he's standing.

You can see it here at 29:11 (watch until 29:55 when he realizes it). He later rotates the ship away from the sun to stop the exposure at 40:26.
I can't seem to find the one where the character was standing in the seat and through the glass, or I'd link it as well.
