Welder not emping via base connector

Mike Goddard shared this bug 42 days ago
Need More Information

Since hotfix that fixed the grinders (thank you so much) the welder fills correctly but, when I take ship back to base to empty welder ship it wont empty the welder block, I have to manually empty them, which I can do via standing (floating lol) between base connector & ship connector, so the only issue is auto emptying.

Iv also discovered a new bug 🐛, place a rotor on base & a few blocks, said blocks move, add a rotor at the end of the row & now the first rotor will not work unless I remove second rotor?

Hello Mike,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum, and please accept our sincere apologies for the delayed response to this thread.

May we ask if these issues have been resolved in the meantime, or is it still occurring?

If issues persist, could you please let us know whether they are happening in a single-player world, a Lobby, or on a Dedicated Server?

Is the world/lobby or server modded (has active MODs) or any in-game Scripts active there? Since obsolete MODs or broken Scripts can sometimes interfere with the game’s core functionality and cause issues like you experienced.

If the world or server is unmodded, would it be possible for you to share the world/server save files with us where these issues occurred, so we can investigate them further? Please also send us screen recordings/videos showing both of the issues and the steps needed to reproduce them on our side using the same world/server save file.

  • If you are the game host (single player/Lobby), you can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves. If the issue occurred on a Dedicated Server (DS), the DS save files can be found in your, Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated\Saves folder
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files or videos, you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind Regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department
