Glitch ship disappears when leaving orbit, encounter ship

Need More Information

I salvaged an encounter ship from Earth and converted it to my ownership & control. Both when I try to leave Earth separately (not shown) and when I try to leave Earth with the ship it disappears (see videos attached). It seems to occur specifically when reach/exceed 0.25g / ~20,200m.

When I am flying the ship and it exceeds the limit, I also get kicked out of reality (no ability to return to player control) and put into spectator mode. This also occurs if I admin-tool move the grid outside Earth's orbit.

What can I do to be able to keep this ship? I really don't want to have to start over (apologies I accidently added this to feedback).

This has happened to others (https://www.reddit.com/r/spaceengineers/comments/1iq9m63/glitch/ | https://www.reddit.com/r/spaceengineers/comments/1iqbsmq/glitch_pt2_lol/)

Hello Lloyd,

Thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.

We tried to reproduce the issue based on your description, but it seems we are still missing some key step or condition, as we weren’t able to trigger it on our side.

Are you still experiencing this when trying with other ships, or was it a one-time occurrence?

If possible, could you provide a clearer set of steps that we can follow exactly?

A short video showing the issue happening on your side would also help a lot.

Ideally, please also share the affected save file (with grid(s) also present) where the problem can be observed after following the steps or video. This would give us the best chance of reproducing the issue properly.

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards
