Connector ownership taken by grid

Playing single player. After docking to a trade station the connector is no longer active on tool bar. Checking the info it is on ownered by an NPC player. Since I am in a safe zone I could not grind the connector. I deleted the ship with admin tools. I used another ship an the save thing happened. Reloaded my save so I coud continue the game, but I am no onger able to use this station.
