Hotfix 1.207.021 Triton & Titan Causing Corrupted World
I have been playing this Star System world for around two weeks and literally last night before the update and it was working fine until today's patch. Every time I try loading into it now, it fails to load after getting to about 85% of load progress. The thumbnail for the world won't even display anymore. I've tried loading it without mods and even used the SE Tools third party program to try and repair the world, as well as to delete all grids in the world so it's only my character and the planets. The game is in Experimental mode but I know for a fact that wasn't causing it. I'm 90% sure this issue is the result of today's update. The only thing that worked was deleting all planets and voxels and then my world FINALLY loaded. Then I went back and deleted all planets in SE Tools one by one until I found the culprit. For SOME REASON, both Triton and Titan is causing my world to fail to load even without any mods and grids.
The issue is not being caused by:
- Experimental Mode
- Mods
- Grids
- Characters
- Asteroids
What the actual shit Keen. Attached below is the world file with Triton & Titan, and the world file without them to assist with testing. Please fix this.
Hello Engineer,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum, we're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues.
Unfortunately we're unable to use the world saves you've attached due to mods. Could you please provide us an unmodded world that experiences this issue? Please also attach a game log from the time when failure to load was experienced.
Kind Regards

As I mentioned, I included a version of the world without mods. If need be, the storage folder for that save can just be deleted. I will post the game log at a later date.

Hello Engineer,
Thank you for the response. Unfortunately we'll have to insist on asking you to supply a new world without mods being used on it at any point of time, and the log, to proceed with this ticket.
Kind Regards

Okay, self-correction, the worlds I uploaded do have mods so my apologies for that. However, you can see that in the world labeled "Test" which I provided, the world has mods but doesn't have Titan and Triton and it loads fine. The world I provided labeled "Original" has the same mods, yet has Titan and Triton and will fail to load with a 100% success rate until they are both removed. Some mods are local to my client but can be safely removed from the world configuration and produce the same end result. I can 100% vouch that I have never even gone near Titan and Triton and none of my mods are causing this issue. These planets were perfectly fine up until the day of Hotfix 1.207.021. Unless you're saying it's a massive coincidence that it just so happens the day of a hotfix that my world that I've been playing with the same mods and same exact grids for 2+ weeks breaks in such an astonishing way, then the hotfix is definitely what broke the world. Once again to re-iterate, there has been absolutely zero interaction with Titan and Triton from within the game, they are untouched to my knowledge, and I have no mods that would alter their behavior or interact with them in any way.
It doesn't happen in other worlds that I know of, so if that's what you're looking for, there's your answer. It is something specific to this world. I've already eliminated the testing process of narrowing down what the issue is, and I've already ruled out the things that I know you ask users to check for. I've attached the log from my latest load attempt for the world labeled "Original."
As of more testing today, a similar issue happens with other worlds involving the mod Leak Finder where the world will fail to load at 45% progress due to this mod. Removing the mod from those worlds fixed that issue, but for this specific world, it will happen even without Leak Finder or any mods at all.
