Investigating

hello Im having issues with my assemblers in space engineers on a multiplayer server where the assemblers are not pulling ingots from containers. the assembler are all connected up to the containers and can be manually dragged over but the assemblers wont pull the resources on there own i have tried turning co op mod off etc and still no result the assemblers have more than enough space in there inventory and there or no conveyor sorters or scripts running to create issues however there are mods such as build vision, colourful Hud, nanobot build and repair , cargo container with fill level bars, modular encounter system, assert combat system, easy npc takeovers, weapon core, rich Hud master, NexusSyncMod and automatic ore pickup. this is the most up to date list i have of the current mods.

Hello Engineer,

Thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.

From the description, I can see that several mods are active on the server. To help us determine whether this issue is related to the base game or to one of the mods, could you please try the following?

Take a blueprint of the affected grid and place it in a clean, un-modded single player world (Survival or Creative). Check if the assemblers behave the same way there - do they still fail to pull ingots automatically, or do they work as expected?

If the issue also occurs in a vanilla world without any mods, could you please share with us either the blueprint of the grid or the entire save file where the problem can be observed? That would allow us to test it directly and investigate further.

For save(s):

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

For blueprint(s):

You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Thank you for looking into this issue. I’ve uploaded both the blueprint and the world file with the same settings that match the server but without mods. During testing, I found that the problem still occurs, although it does occasionally work after reloading saves etc.

If it would help, I can also provide the server IP for further testing. If this is determined to be a mod-related issue, I completely understand if it cannot be fixed, and I’ll make the server admins aware of it.
