No air inside sealed corridor (non-orthogonal blocks)

Won't Fix

Test world here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3556543614

Corridors built with non-orthogonal blocks (ex: curved/slant windows or panels) between airtight rooms don't have any oxygen in the corridor.

Rooms at either end remain airtight and have oxygen.

To test: Stand in the middle of the corridor (suit will report no oxygen, player will take damage with helmet open)

Hello Steve,

We’ve recently revisited this issue for another technical review. After careful evaluation, we confirmed that with the current game technology, it’s unfortunately not possible to resolve it properly at this time, so the ticket will be closed as “Won’t Fix.”

That said, this kind of limitation might be something we can approach differently in the future — or even overcome entirely with the technological progress that could come with a next-generation version of Space Engineers. Time will tell.

Kind Regards,

Ludmila Danilchenko

Head of Space Engineers QA Department
