If I'm holding a small grid small hydrogen tank in my hand and look at a large grid to change it, it'll give me the ability to place the small hydrogen tank from the Fieldwork DLC when I haven't purchased it. I'm not sure of the best was to show you and how to send the relevant info

I am not from Keen.
Can you actually place the Fieldwork tank though?
To clarify your bug report a little to help Keen : Select the small hydrogen tank with the + sign on it, point at a small-grid and select the Small Hydrogen Tank, now move the pointer to a large-grid, and the block changes to Lab Small Hydrogen Tank. It will be highlighted green but cannot be placed. DId this in survival with admin tools.
As a related note: If I have the small-grid laser antenna and look at a large grid, the selection changes to the large-grid parabolic antenna. Highlighted green but cannot place it.
