Flush Cockpit Disabled

Won't Fix

I signed up for the newsletter months ago, and I really like the Flush Cockpit. Recently though it has become inaccessible for use, and I'm not sure why. I tried resubmitting my request for the newsletter, which I do actually like, but I still don't have access to the Flush Cockpit anymore. That lack of access has also made all of the save files I have where I used the Flush Cockpit error on load. I am unsure how to fix this issue.

Okay, I verified the integrity of the game files and apparently something glitched and I lost a few. Afterwards the issue was resolved. I'm still not sure what happened, or how the files were lost.

Hello William,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum. Could you please confirm if verifying your game files has resolved the issue and you can now access the cockpit and load your saves?

If not, please try the following steps:

  • Close the game completely (make sure it’s not running in the background).
  • Type %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder.
  • Navigate to AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers and delete the SpaceEngineers.cfg file. This will reset your in-game settings to default, but your saved worlds will remain untouched.
  • Once the file is deleted, launch the game again through Steam and re-subscribe to the newsletter.

Check if the cockpit is accessible and your saves load correctly.

Kind Regards,
