Typing problem in Cutscene editor

Same exact issue as this guy

I don't mean to copy or repost but that bug report was submitted 3 years ago, and while the devs commented saying they reproduced it and have it logged the issue still exists and it's making it very hard to use the editor as I really can't type in it at all.
Please fix soon if you can
