Exhaust Cap Placement Bug
Not a Bug
Realized today that the Exhaust Cap has some bugs that prohibit it from being placed on top of certain other blocks that you can normally place other blocks on. For example, the use that a lot of players would likely naturally want, the Exhaust Cap is not able to be placed on the vent side of a Heat Vent block, even though other blocks can be placed there.

After discussing this internally, we’d like to inform you that this is expected behavior: Exhaust Cap block, along with several other blocks, cannot be placed on the vent side of Heat Vent block.
