Error when joining multiplayer server
Need More Information
Greetings,
I am having an issue when loading onto a password protected private server in which I have previously connected and played on. I have been away for a few days and now when I try to connect to the server, I get no "connecting to world" screen other then the blank outline of the box that shows for a millisecond. Nothing else pops up even when direct connecting and I do not have a VPN on my system installed or running.
I have currently tried:
-Uninstall, direct connect, unsubscribing from workshop items and reinstalling, removing mods, looked at network settings, mostly every method known on reddit
Please help if able
Hello Jacob,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.
Could you please provide a bit more information about the issue you're experiencing? Does this happen only on this specific server, or have you noticed the same issue on other servers as well?
We recommend testing by connecting to a different server, such as one of Keen's Official Servers to see if the issue persists.
If the issue also occurs on our servers, please try switching your internet connection method. For example, if you're currently using Wi-Fi, try connecting via Ethernet cable to see if that makes any difference. Additionally, please make sure your operating system and network drivers are fully up to date.
If the issue continues, it would be helpful if you could share a screen recording/video of the issue, along with the log files from the time the issue occurred.
Kind regards,
Keen Software House: QA Department
