Hi Keen Team!

While playing in Star System survival world experimetal mode I have noticed we can change ownership to ME on Planetary encounter without a fight, here are the Steps To Reproduce :

STR :

1 - Find Planetary encounter.

2 - Add a control panel on the station wall from the exterior.

3 - Aim at the new control panel and hit K.

4 - Select all blocks in the left list (all blocks highlighted).

5 - Notice we can change ownership to ME on the right.

Hello Daniel,

When you are a host of the world (create it), you are its admin by default, and this is why you have full control of everything in the world.

The difference is that in 205, you had to first toggle "Can use all terminals", but in 206 it works without that toggle.

Hope it clears things out for you.

Best Regards,

Hello Engineer,

It appears this behavior is due to you being the creator of the world in question, which causes the game to treat you as an administrator.

We already have an existing thread on a similar (or the same) issue, so we'll link your report to that internal bug ticket.

Kind regards,

Hi, not sure what you mean about "you being the creator of the world" because it is the Sandbox world named Star System where I did not changed anything in it, I mean it is a normal survival gameplay where I have selected Titan respawn Pod from the respawn screen.

I usually create premade scenario but not this time, I just selected the Star System world wihtout any changes.

Oh! Maybe you are talking about the Workshop save shared by another player!?

-> I have tested that save and created a new Star System world to see if I can reproduce on my side and I was able to avoid the "Hacking" part without enabling creative from the Admin menu.

This "Can use all terminals" checkbox works different, it allows you to access any terminal or cargo port on any grid, regardless of what faction it belongs to, and it works the same as before.

In our case, we initially need at least one terminal that we own (hack any block, or weld a control panel), and after that we have the ability to change the owner of any block on the grid from the K-menu.

And if the game treat me an admin, why don't I have other administrator options, and what button do I press to play as a user?
