Jukebox too quiet compared to ship sounds

Need More Information

The Jukebox and Media Player is completely drowned out by your ship's normal sounds (thrusters, equipment, etc.). It has been this way as long as I can recall, but it really should be considered a bug because it's ruining their utility; you can't hear it properly over your ship's engines as it maxes out WAY below that. The Media Player also seems to only be really audible when you're VERY close to it, which is DEFINITELY a bug. The sound fadeoff with distance from both media player and jukebox seem to be broken since the Signal update.

I'll add a suggestion: instead of having jukebox be classified as System in the sound system, classify it as Music and just have it overwrite the default music anywhere within its radius.

Sounds are bugged, if you look at the jukebox you will not hear it, just turn around and its blasting like crazy.

Sound Configuration

  • Default audio output device selected in Windows (found under Control Panel > Sound > Playback tab)
  • Speaker configuration: Stereo, 5.1 Surround, or 7.1 Surround (found in Speaker Setup)

In-Game Context

  • What were you doing in-game when the issue occurred? (e.g., inside a ship, flying, listening to the jukebox, etc.)
  • Did the issue start after a specific update? If so, which one?

Required

  • Log files from the game session where the issue occurred
To access your log files, type %appdata% into your Windows search bar to open the hidden Roaming folder. Then navigate to:
    \Roaming\SpaceEngineers

Optional (but appreciated)
