Factorum Encounter bug - P.C

Hi there

With every encounter I have with the factorum, there ships and structures are already damaged. The builds always spawn in smoking. And its always the same blocks - toilets, doors, lockers, consoles and conveyors. I've spoken to another player on discord and they don't seem to have this issue.

I am not from Keen, but I request more info.

Do you know how long it is between the Factorum signal appears to when you engage the Factorum. The game spawns in ships in good condition, but if there is no interaction the ships start to degrade and smoke.

Immediately. Last night I went through 4 encounters that as soon as they spawned I used spectator/admin to check on them all appeared with damage.

The issue you’re describing is not a bug—it's intentional. The Factorum Warship is designed to have certain blocks appear damaged (such as toilets, doors, lockers, consoles, and conveyors). We double-checked with our Level Design team, and they confirmed this was done on purpose to reflect the war-torn nature of the ship. It is a warship, after all.

A "war torn" warship would have battle damage from the outside, where the enemies shot at it?

Why would the enemies destroy blocks such as toilets? Unless its a taco bell ship.

Thanks for the feedback/clarification, I just found it strange that other players claimed it didn't happen to them.
