AI Flight (Move) block ignoring minimum altitude and collision avoidance settings

A friend and I have both been trying to automate some cargo ships on our MP server. We're on a custom planet and the destinations are about 24km apart. No matter how much thrust we give the ships (initially, mostly upwards, but I've since tried a ship covered in thrusters pointing every direction) they keep flying into the ground.

The start and end points for my ship are both roughly 550m up and the minimum altitude is set to 500m. Maximum pitch/roll are both at 25 degrees. Collision avoidance is ON. I have about an hour's worth of battery power at maximum consumption. As soon as I start playing the AI Recorder, my ship pitches down and just flies straight into the ground.

It's like the ship is trying to make a beeline to the destination and completely ignoring the curvature of the planet, which is a factor with the distance to the site. I have the same problem both coming and going, as does my friend with his ship. We're out of ideas for how we could be making a mistake; no matter what we do, the ships just keep going kamikaze.

Update: the problem appears to be related to the AI Recorder block. I was using it with only one waypoint, but I guess it still created a path from its point of origin and insisted on following that instead of respecting the AI Flight block settings. I'm now using an AI Basic (Task) block with GPS waypoints, and my ship is no longer crashing. It's a bit annoying, though, since the AI Basic block doesn't allow for multiple actions on reaching the waypoint the way AI Recorder blocks do.

Hello Engineer,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

I'm glad to hear that you were able to find a workaround.

I've still created a ticket for the issue where the drone can go below the minimum altitude. This has been forwarded to our development team for further investigation.

We will update the status of this topic and notify you here as soon as we have any new information.

Kind regards,
