Lab sliding door won't close via Event Controller

I have set up a piston elevator with a sensor to make the piston go up and down. I'm using an event controller to make the door open when the piston is extended and close when the piston is retracted. This works with other door variants I have tested, but won't work with the Lab Sliding Door from the Fieldwork DLC as the door will open but never close. I have created a test world with different doors set up.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I was able to reproduce it, and it has been forwarded to our development team for further investigation.
Based on my testing, the issue appears to be related to collisions rather than the event controller. The door becomes completely stuck when the piston is extended and cannot be opened, even through direct interaction.
If you’d prefer not to wait for a fix, a possible workaround is to build the elevator with a slight offset from the door. This should help avoid the collision issue.
