An error in uploading a drawing to the steam workshop.
Need More Information
Good afternoon. I apologize for the long response to a previously created message. When I log in to steam again and try to publish the drawing I saved to the steam workshop, an error appears: "Server connection error". Can you please tell me how to fix this error?
Hello engineer,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.
The 'Server connection error' you’re experiencing when publishing a blueprint to the Steam Workshop usually relates to Steam connectivity problems or limitations associated with Steam Cloud synchronization.
To resolve this, please try restarting both Space Engineers and the Steam client completely. If that doesn't help, we recommend temporarily disabling Steam Cloud by opening the Steam client, going to Steam > Settings > Cloud, and unchecking "Enable Steam Cloud". Once done, restart Steam and try publishing the blueprint again.
Additionally, please ensure that no VPN active or firewall settings are interfering with Steam or the game’s online features, as these can sometimes block necessary connections.
Kind regards,
