Question about API changes (?)

Hello,
After the last update Scripts like for exp.: SDS-OS and IQueue are broken (I gave creators feedback). Alot Script witch use LCDs and display block/item types. (But not all)
It looks like the API types are outdated, I know there were other changes befor, like with the MyTextpannel, was over a year outdated, befor it breaks the script.
Current Example:
cannot convert from 'List<IMyThrust>' to 'MemorySafeList<IMyThrust>
So my Question: Is this a new change, a bug, or have they been outdated for while?
