cant get the update, cant play the game?

SOOOOO, im in mcmurdo station, antarctica. as you can imagine, our bandwidth is extremely limited. the fieldwork update came out and is like, my allotted bandwidth for the next ten weeks. i have no way to get the update. the game (when steam is connected to my very slow internet) tells me i need to update. i try to play it offline, and it gets stuck on "downloading workshop". please, help! im here for another seven months, and i planned on building an entire universe in space engineers.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to describe your situation, and we can only imagine the challenges of maintaining a stable connection all the way from McMurdo Station. That’s quite the setting for building a universe in Space Engineers!
We wanted to check in and ask if you’ve managed to download the update since then, or if the issue is still preventing you from playing. If you’re still stuck, we’d love to help find a workaround so you can get back to engineering among the stars.

So I was able to deal with the download issue through a separate network. It took a little finagling but I was able to get it to work. Thank you for your response.
