Connector/mergeblock... merge problem

Need More Information

I've notice a problem several times now, and I think I have a handle on it at this point.

If you are building a small grid vessel. and you want to build off of an existing SG connector, you can put a merge block on the side of it, then plae a merge block facing that one, then place a connector attached to the second merge block and facing the first connector.

Weld the connector and the merge block.

The connectors are now considered the same grid... even when you turn off the merge blocks. you have to destroy and rebuild one of the connectors to be able to separate the grids.

I have attached a link to a video of me describing how to NOT cause the issue. It is not an example of the issue, but the issue should be pretty easy to reproduce, it's happened to me like 3-4 times now.

Hello Engineer,

Thank you for the report, unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce the issue. I tried to build the contraption from the video in creative and survival but both connectors were able to lock/unlock and behaved as separate grids after disconnecting merge blocks.

Could you please provide more detailed steps on how to reproduce the issue, in case it still happens?

Thank you,

Best Regards,
