Snipping Tool not working
Hi KSN support!
I've been experiencing a small but compounding issue with my space engineers for a long time now and I don't know why it started; But here goes.
Some time back around mid or mid to late 2024 (I think) my screen snap/snipping tool started to automatically tab out of space engineers whenever I would try to use it. This is a somewhat big issue for me as I use it to get slightly high quality screenshots for my stuff in game and its one of the reasons I stopped uploading which really sucks.
I used the snipping tool as it allowed me to get much quicker and nice shots without roasting my PC with F4 in game renders or the poorer quality F12 screenshots.
Is there any way to fix this?
I've tried the following:
Resetting Snipping Tool.
Wiping Preps and Un/Re Installing Snipping Tool.
Trying Alternative Screenshotting applications. [These also has the exact same problem.]
I've also tired other window/display options in game but id rather not play tabbed mode and one of them is extremely hazy for me.
Additionally also tried a different keyboard and changed what ports they are connected into along with a bunch of other things.
This is the only game that does this and my friends don't have this issue. I do believe this is some fault with my space engineers.
I hope there is something I can do with your help.

Also, as you've mentioned this started happening sometime in mid to late 2024, do you recall if anything changed around that time (e.g. a major Windows update, GPU driver update, hardware change, etc.)?
While this may not be a bug directly caused by the game, we’ll be happy to look into it further.
You might also want to try using other tools like Greenshot or ShareX, as some users have reported better compatibility with fullscreen applications.
Please let us know about the display settings and any other info you can think of, and we’ll do our best to help!
It might also help us in recreating this problem if you would share us the config file of your game, so we can investigate it closer.
You can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
