Thruster destroyed in (on edge of) safezone
Reported
Hi
I had a collision which resulted in a proto thruster being destroyed while technically in a safe zone.
It was recommended by Gorwyn i report this as it can be a bug.
I was in a ship inside the safe zone with only a part of a thruster outside the safe zone, as i moved the ship collided with a drill which was being held by a SG ship and i was about to hack and bring inside the safe zone.
The thruster just vanished, no explosion, no smoke, no damage to the rest of the ship.
I have had experience ( and friends can confirm) of proto blocks just vanishing on mild impacts before.
In the video there is an accurate recreation.

A recent change to safe zone mechanics in the contact update made it so that the safe zone now only applies to blocks fully within the zone; a ship that is partially out of the zone is no longer completely invulnerable. There was a class of exploits that allowed griefing by permanently attaching invulnerable ships to a safe zone and then extending masts with guns out of it.
I believe this is not a bug.
