I didn't playing SE since at least a month, do the update, and have find out than all my saves are gone, I've checked other Topic, I've check the integrity of files, check on my blueprint files who did not even exist anymore, and I'm really bored because I'm a old player and I've made a lot of nice saves and ships who just vanish....

A clue maybe, for keep enough space in my (C:)hardisk, I put all my steam files in the (D:) one, which include SE

SE keeps its saves and BPs in a folder in your appdata, which can be wiped if you did something like reinstall windows, but it sounds like you already know that. If you didn't know that, you might be able to find your old saves by going into your appdata folder (google that if you don't know how). If you just transplanted the SE install as it was, it's very possible that the reference to that appdata folder is broken but the contents are all still there.

Hello Engineer,

Thank you for reaching out, and we’re sorry to hear about your missing saves.

Could you please check your actual save files on your hard drive? You can find them in the following location:

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

If you moved your Steam installation to D:, your saves should still be in the %appdata% folder on C: unless something changed that reference.

Additionally, could you clarify what you mean by "saves are missing"? If I understand correctly, you updated the game, and after that - as well as manually manipulating game files - this issue started happening?

Are the saves missing from the Load Game menu in Space Engineers? What about local saves - are they still present in the above directory?

This will help us better understand what might have happened and how to assist you further. Looking forward to your response!

Kind regards,
