Hello Engineer,

thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.

Can you please provide me more information?

When this started to happen? Were you able to start a server without problems in the past?

What networking type are you using (Steam/EOS)?

Can you check your Task managed that you have no multiple instances of the DSGUI running, please?

Please share me the log file from any session affected like this.

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

This issue started a while ago, and it’s been so frustrating that I just ignored it. In the past, I was able to start the server multiple times without any issues. However, after installing an antivirus program—which turned out to be a complete scam—it deleted several important files, including some .NET software.

I completely removed the antivirus and reinstalled all the necessary .NET software. Now, when I try to start the server, I encounter a few errors. If I don’t run it on an instance, I get the errors shown in the screenshot. However, when I run it on an instance (as shown in the original screenshot), I don’t get any errors, but the server doesn’t start.

I have used both Process Explorer and Task Manager to check if any processes are locking the file, but I found no results. I also tried adding an exception in the firewall for that file, but that didn’t work either. The server runs on EOS service with console compatibility.

Please let me know if this provides enough information.
