Hinge having Klang noises regardless of settings.
Hello sorry to bother, I have issues with hinges having extremely loud Klang noises regardless of settings.
To put some perspective I am using multiple hinge blocks on a small grid to give it a unique look, but this issue is happening regardless of the block settings, placement, if it has something attached or if its on or off.
Mainly the moment you move the ship and turn using the gyros that is when the sound is being heard as a very loud bang followed by multiple ones. I can understand that to happen if we have blocks attached on the hinge, or nearby ones but this sound is happening even if the hinge is placed away from any block, and has nothing on it.
More or less I have tried to tweak the settings like:
- Toggling Share inertia tensor
- Toggling Hinge lock
- Having timers to also turn of the hinge when it reaches the desired position
- Playing with the Torque and braking torque values
- Trying different Velocity values for both angles
- Setting up different degrees and not using the hard -90 or +90. I used stuff like 89 or such.
- Having the block on or off with set inertia and hinge lock.
No amount of testing has lead to any results, this noise is hearing no matter what I am doing with the block or if it's used or not. Is this a bug?
