Need More Information

I was working with a projector originally to help with repairs of a ship, but when it’s fully aligned, that projector being configured does not display anything as a hologram instead it will gives an error saying projection out of bounds in the control panel when turned on.

Hello Maximillian,

Thank you for reaching out to our forum.

Unfortunately, we haven't found any files attached to your thread or comment. Could you provide more details about the issue? Did this occur in a modded (with active MODs), or in an unmodded (vanilla) world/server? If the world/server was modded, please remove the MODs (temporarily) or create a blueprint of your grid and paste it into a vanilla world to check if the issue persists.

If the issue no longer occurs after removing the MODs or pasting the grid into an vanilla world, the issue is likely caused by one or more of the active MODs. However, if the issue persists in a vanilla world, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with the vanilla world save file or the blueprint of your affected grid.

  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.
  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves. Please zip the file and attach it here.
  • If you are having difficulty attaching world save or the video files here, you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind Regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department

For some reason now, the projector just doesn’t give you the right information I thought that was bugged, but turned out. It might be bugged in a different way to remove a block from the build. It ends up actually projecting that block in the build. So I guess It’s a different type of issue that I have encountered and I’m not sure why there’s an error displaying projection out of bounds when it shouldn’t be.
