So this is very complicated, a crash now consistently occurs with a specific grid I have after the contact update. I have a welding ship that has two arms, both arms have more subgrid rotors that then lead to welders and grinders, these arms rotate and merge to the hull of the ship using merge blocks. The merge blocks are used so the grinders do not grind the hull of the ship, since it will be treated as one grid. This welding ship worked before the update, but now after the update it consistently crashes my game once I rotate the welding arms to have them merge with the main hull. It is really weird because on an old world it seems to be fine but any new instance of that ship will crash my game.

Nevermind, I have determined that the crash is caused by a lcd script that reads ship cargo inventory, and it reads subgrids which promptly crash the game once the subgrids merge to the hull.
