Station converting back to ship is stuck

Need More Information

After converting large grid ship to a station so I can turn the safe zone on, when I turn safe zone off and convert back to a ship, the ship is stuck stationary and cannot turn or move. It's also not able to use jump drives. I have to log off the server and back in to fix it. Playing on Keen official server #2, vanilla.

This has happened every time (about 8 times today)

I have Ion Thrusters, Gravity Drive, and Jump drives. I can't rotate or move.

Hello Edward,

Thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.

Thank you for your offer to provide the blueprint - it would definitely be useful, as your ship might have specific blocks or configurations that we haven’t tested yet. Please send it over when you can.

You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

We’ve tried reproducing the issue on various ships and in all game modes, including single player, Lobby multiplayer, and Dedicated Server multiplayer, but so far, we haven’t been able to replicate the problem on our side.

Could you clarify if there are any specific steps you take before the issue appears?

For example, are you still sitting in the control seat while controlling the Safe Zone as well as switching the grid between a Station and a Ship through the Info tab, or are you moving around the ship with your character before attempting to move it again? Does the issue happen instantly after turning On and Off the Safe Zone, or does it only occur after the Safe Zone has been operating for some time? If so, is there a minimum time you have observed before the issue starts happening?

If possible, a video showing the issue would be very helpful in understanding what’s happening. Also, as you kindly offered, providing the blueprint might give us insight into whether there is something specific about your ship’s design that could be contributing to the issue.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department

Here is the ship blueprint. It is an older version but mostly the same. I had a sub grid that I removed and that didnt fix the problem.
