Won't Fix

Hello! Im having a problem where I cant release my blueprint with its thumbnail, if I delete the thumbnail it will upload but doesnt have any thumbnail and shows up as the stock "missing photo" picture. I have this pinned image below of which I want my blueprint to have on the workshop but I appear to be at a standstill, I have tried everything I could come up with after looking at countless discussions about this problem. Can someone help me?

Hello engineer,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.

To replace or update your blueprint's thumbnail, please follow these steps:

Access your blueprint’s folder:

  • Open the Windows search bar and type %appdata% to navigate to the hidden Roaming folder.
  • Go to \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints and locate the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud). Find the blueprint by its name folder. Open it and replace the thumbnail.

Replace the thumbnail file:

  • Delete the existing thumb.png file in the blueprint's folder
  • Paste your new thumbnail image into the same folder, ensuring it is named thumb.png

Update the Workshop entry:

  • Open the Blueprints Menu in the game (press F10).
  • Select your blueprint and publish it on Steam.

Verify the updated thumbnail:

  • Visit your blueprint's Steam Workshop page to confirm the new thumbnail is displayed.
  • If it isn't, ensure the thumb.png file was replaced correctly and repeat the upload process in-game.

If the issue persists, please let us know.

Kind Regards,
