Admin screen shows wrong grid info
Reported
We were using the Admin screen to find out which build was causing a performance / memory impact. To our surprise, the largest ship listed was an unnamed small grid with 70'000 PCU...
When I looked at it as spectator, it was a Factorum lootbox (small grid built out of two Factorum batteries) that was magplated to a large-grid ship!
We would have expected the two to be listed separately, or listed as large grid under the large-grid ship's name. A smart person told us the game can't tell subgrids/parent vs child apart. So maybe an improvement suggestion for SE2?

Hello Ada,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.
It is unusual for lootboxes to spawn with such high PCUs. As for the issue you described, grids attached via magnetic plates are listed separately in the Admin Screen because magnetic plates do not merge grids into a single entity.
Could you please clarify if the server is modded? Additionally, did the small grid have a different owner than the large grid? Have you noticed if other grids attached in a similar way (e.g. using magnetic plates or landing gear) are listed differently in the Admin Screen, or is this behavior consistent across other grids as well?
Kind Regards,

Good point, I should have added that the server was modded with the following: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3351284721
It is possible it had a different owner, I can't check anymore because we took it apart. We will check if others act like that as well. As you write, we were also expecting that magnetic plates don't act weird like that.
