Ores cannot be detected.

Won't Fix

I am a new Space Enigneers Player and i followed the Content Creator's Splitise Tutorial, the tutorial was a bit outdated but still could be translated for the latest ui, so i created a new "world" by chosing the sandbozxmenu (pre-selected) and the solar system scenario where according to the tutorial instead of directly playing it, i chose to customize and disable the weather system . Then i was starting to progress through the game normally where until i couldnt find any ores.I tried if the signal/antemma of the player is on, using the respawn drop's ore dedector, running around with the drill while both shifting or not, i couldn't find any discoloration on the gorund(probably due to the fact that grass is enabled by default but anyways) , i even tried to create a flyer with a large grid ore dedector whcih couldn't fly since i only had four atmospehric thrusters from the respawn pod and couldnt create any more since metal grids cannot be created by using/refining stone to cobalt.(). So i gave up, enables creative tools and searched the world, even built an nww ore dedecore on a new diffrent, far from spawn point static grid trying tod edect ores which didm't work , and finally i used voxel.hands and testes by spawning iron ore next to the all the ore dedectors, ans none couln't even pick it up. So i deleted the save out of frustation (in case you want to ask for it). Playing on the latest version as the time ofwriting (1.205 Contact "Prototech/Facorium" Update) without running any mods, played on Windows 11 64-bit, with a device mee5ing all the system reuirements and() .DLCS: - Decorative Pack #2 - Sparks of the feature - Frostbite. Planet: Earth. Also, i couldn't find any ice in the whole manual expolartiong expedition of the plaent , and the terrain was way more steep comapred to wjat is seen on youtube videos or prpmotional art (could be a concidenCe) and if not stepp eveything was on (v3ry?) hgih altitude).

Yes. Sorry For The Long Message. My issue is that i have tried all avaliable methods that the game has and all troubleshooting steps i thought or/and could find online, to make ore detectors work, but still they don't work and i am unable to find any ores. This makes the game unplayable.

The original message is so large as i wanted to describe all the methods that i have tried, trying to resolve the issue.

Endpoint: Trying to fix the game or in case if i have overseen a game setting, to correct it, so ore detectors work, and therefore i can procced with gameplay, since the game is otherwise unplayable.

Hello Mant,

Thank you for providing such detailed information about your issue. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the ore detectors. I've tried replicating the problem on my end, and the ore detectors seem to be working fine for me.

To better understand and resolve the issue you're facing, could you please provide me with a copy of your save file where the problem is occurring? Additionally, if you could share a video showing the steps you take and the issue you're encountering, it would be extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem.

For saves:

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards
