Need More Information

Hello, I am playing in a multiplayer world with a single friend, and I am hosting, with my FPS always holding capped at 120, but regardless of that, the server simulation speed randomly drops from 1.00 to 0.5. Is there are way to resolve this? I have attached the most recent SE log.

Hello Alexander,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.

After reviewing the log, we noticed that you have MODs active in your lobby/multiplayer-world, along with a few MOD-related errors. It is quite possible that the issue you are experiencing is caused by these MODs. Since the number of active MODs is relatively low, we recommend testing by removing each MOD one by one to observe how it affects the simulation speed. Alternatively, you can remove all MODs from your lobby/multiplayer-world to check if the issue resolved, and then add the MODs back individually to identify the problematic one.

If the issue persists even with no MODs active, we suggest cleaning up your world using the Trash Removal or increasing the sensitivity of the Trash Removal settings. This can help remove any unwanted grids or debris that may be affecting the simulation speed.

Additionally, could you confirm if the low simulation speed occurs when random or global encounters spawn in your world? If so, disabling them in the world settings may help improve performance.

Please let us know if any of these suggestions resolve your issue.

Kind Regards,
