Exploding Rotors and Hinges

Need More Information

Ever since the release of Set and go ( i believe, could be back to prototech/contact) when setting up a simple drilling rig - 1+piston, advanced rotor, 1+drills - manually changing the degrees causes the rotor and or hinge to violently react and usually explode. my estimation is it's attempting to go to zero and then to new angle in 2 frames/ticks, the further from zero the manual angle is the worse it is.

i've tried several times and it's very easily repeatable in Keen public servers ( straight vanilla, no inertial tensioners) 2 pistons , adv.rotor, and 2-4 conveyors/cargo, and single drill.

no matter RPM of rotor, at some point tell it to stop at 180 (upper limit) , then oops i stopped it at wrong location, set upper limit to 360 ( no rotor lock, no reversed direction, just update limit) most commonly explodes when done via CTRL-Click entered value, vs slider) it'll violently thrash and throw the drill and shred itself and the connecting conveyors

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we were not able to reproduce the issue. Could you please provide some additional information? Would it be possible to share a video with the issue if this is happening frequently?

Could you share blueprint of the drill where the issue is happening? You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department.
