game starts in fullscreen instead of windowed fullscreen, even with fullscreen windowed mode enabled

Won't Fix

whenever i launch the game it starts in fullscreen mode, i prefer windowed fullscreen and have to manually go into the settings to switch it back to windowed fullscreen (which then doesn't save next time i open the game)

I have the same bug

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum. We’re sorry to hear about the issue you’re experiencing.

Have you tried deleting your configuration file to see if that resolves the problem? If not, you can delete the SpaceEngineers.cfg file by following these steps:

It means your game configuration will be deleted
You can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

After completing this, start the game and change the windows mode. Save the setting and restart the game. Please let us know if this resolves the issue for you.
