Cannot publish to Steam

Won't Fix

I tried publishing blueprints disesteemed, but it’s not able to work no matter if I said it to with steam cloud or no scheme cloud on the game setting. I don’t know what’s going on, but I need help with this. Whenever I try to publish, it just says Steam: error accessing surface

Hello, Engineer,


We are sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. Can you please provide us a log file after attempting to publish?


  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\
  • The correct log file can be found by it's filename or by ordering by time modified and choosing the most recent one
